About Sugar Mama
Daily Dose of Sugar Mama started the fall of 2009, just a few weeks after I turned 30. I had a lot on my mind and nowhere to share it. Every neurotic needs a creative outlet, this is mine. Without it I would surely bite off my fingernails.
I consider myself a rebellious conservative for several reasons; I love God and tattoos, beer and baking, Sugar Daddy and the Kids, homemaking and being independent. I struggle with committing to any one thing (except for marriage and motherhood). This blog is a perfect example of my unpredictable nature—you just never know what you’ll get.
A few things you’ll find me post about on my blog: organization, attempts at being creative, food, parenting teenagers, teen pregnancy advocacy, living a life with meaning, life in my 30′s, and coffee. Sometimes things are light & fluffy here, and other times it can get deep. But my intention is always that we will all learn from one another from the lessons of life.
Why Sugar Mama? My oldest son gave me the nickname years ago because I’m often found in the kitchen baking sweets… and I love eating them! Sorry if I disappointed anyone, but no, I’m not that kind of sugar mama.
