Where I Blog (and Vlog)
This post was written on May 5th, 2011Here’s my vlog about where I blog (say that 5 times really fast). I like to have a visual in my head of someone while I’m reading their blog, and now you’ll have a visual of me whether you like it or not. 
But mainly I did this as a “before” reference to what the daycare area looks like. I didn’t share much of it due to the privacy of the kids, but I wanted to show the desk space since it will change SO much this summer. *squealing with excitement*

And had to tell ya that I am still enjoying my Peet’s gift card after all this time. I’ve really made it stretch huh?! Cute vlog!

My brother sent me 5 bags of Peet’s coffee beans in a variety of roasts… so I’m set for a few months. It was the BEST surprise package I’ve ever received!
Glad you’re getting use out of your card. Oh, and I hope to visit a Peet’s in person while there in September!

I enjoyed getting to put a face to the words. The kid at the end saying
“Who are you TALKING to?” was hilarious!

My mom gave me a gorgeous solid wood desk that they don’t have room for at the new place. I’m going to re-finish it and paint it (not sure what color). Also trying to find a cool chair to sit with the desk. I love my comfy little corner, but it will be nice to have some lighter furniture in here. Sugar Daddy is working on a BIG project for the daycare kids!!! I can’t wait to share it!

you are so cute! i’m starting to love vlogs. especially if the subjects are not awkward. b/c when i watch an awkward vlog, it makes me nervous. YOU are not awkward. YAY! can’t wait to see the end result!

Thanks! It’s funny, I feel natural talking to the camera. I know I talk fast, and that will never change, but I don’t have trouble finding things to say.
I know what you mean about awkward vlogs though, and I’m really glad mine didn’t make you nervous!

Yeah, the daycare kids were cracking me up! They were all staring at me wide eyed. I think they were worried I’d gone crazy.

You had 7 kids there while making the vlog? The kids are all pretty young. That’s crazy. Excited to see the redo of the room. What’s the story with the Supergirl monitor?

LOL! The Supergirl TV was on clearance at Toys R Us and it’s where the daycare kids watch dvd’s from time to time. It’s an eye sore for sure, but it works. I don’t let them watch much tv, so having something for their 30 min videos works great. And, yes, all 7 kids were playing on the other side of the half wall while I made the video. I got out blocks and cars for them to stay entertained while I made the 5 min video. They are great kids!

I can’t believe the kids were good and let you vlog for a whole 5 minutes! My kids wouldn’t let me do that and there are only 3 of them.

My husband made the cork board, he made two. One for my favorite quotes and one for the daycare kids’ artwork.

Oh gosh, thanks for saying the house is pretty…. I’m not really fond of the daycare area and it’s the first room people see when they enter the house. I do love having my own space to sit at.
