Yellow Wreath

This post was written on March 17th, 2011

I’m cheap. So instead of buying a new foam circle, I re-used the one with red flowers.

(I did pull out several of the leftover green stems from the red flowers)

I don’t want the red anymore; I’m replacing all red in my house with orange, yellow, and green: happy colors!

And I didn’t use a hot glue gun this time. I just poked the yellow flowers tightly into the foam. Simple.

If this wreath were to hang on a door that would be open and shut I’d suggest securing the flowers better with glue.

I used white flowers with yellow centers for most of the wreath, and in the center used all yellow flowers.

It makes for a cool contrast.

Isn’t this a happy wreath! And a super easy project. It would make a great gift!

I am a REALLY good copy-cat. But rarely do I think of stuff on my own (shhhhhh… don’t tell anyone) ;)

I just love it! I am using a lot more yellows and oranges in my kitchen and living room. It just feels so much warmer! I do have a lot of red but I am re-thinking that plan and this wreath is perf! I am gonna be a copy-cat to the copy-cat! :)

I am not ashamed to be a copy-cat & glad you aren’t either ;) I had red for a while, but wanted something more cheerful. It’s been fun incorporating the brighter colors. Just wait until you see the next wreath I’m posting this week!
