20 for 2011
This post was written on January 13th, 2011I can’t say this will be the best year yet; no wedding to Sugar Daddy or birth to one of my children…. so it can’t be the best year. But I CAN do some things to make damn certain it’s a really great year. Obviously there are some “deep” and more meaningful ways to accomplish this, but I’ll save that for a day when I’m feeling especially emotional. Today I’m in a good mood. Light-hearted. Happy. My list reflects that.

List of 20 Things I can Do to Make 2011 Rock
1) Have fun with all of my patterned paper that I’ve collected over the years. I LOVE patterned paper but tend to over think what to do with it. This year I’ll decorate, create, & be unique with the paper. Any ideas?
2) Enjoy working on Project Life
3) Journal more about what I enjoy and less about what irritates me.
4) Take pictures all. of. the. time. Apply what I’m learning from “Understanding Exposures”
5) Get creative with my “Share Your Gifts” project. Make this year about surprising people with kindness. I am currently making a list of how I can use my gifts/talents to help others.
6). Help Teen with his driving skills. He can get his permit this year. (I realize this seems odd to add to this list, but seeing his excitement while learning something new IS awesome… and WILL make it a pretty rockin’ year).
7) Perfect my application of liquid eyeliner
8.) Organize closets, pantry, and baking cabinet. I have some inspiration here, here, here, and here
9) Plant a new vegetable this year along with the jalapenos and tomatoes.Take friends my salsa made from my home grown veggies.
10) Hold Sugar Daddy’s hand a lot
11) Kiss Sugar Daddy a lot
12) Visit my dear friend in Oklahoma when she has her new baby in August.
13) Drink a lot of Peet’s
14) Try some new P90x workouts (I don’t do a regimen work out. I like to try new things, but rarely stick with them. Work outs easily bore me. But I have all of the p90x dvd’s and some of them look like fun)
15) Read all of the books on my 2011 book list (see last years list here)
16) Continue seeking other opportunities for work; journal, journal, journal. Keep my eyes and mind WIDE open. Pray often.
17) Get back to what I love about blogging…. have fun with it!
18) Work on my writing project (I haven’t written about it on my blog, but it’s very personal and hopefully some day it will be available to anyone who could benefit).
19) Enjoy couples’ nights with Sugar Daddy & meeting new friends- don’t get hung up on the small things (I always worry about what I’m wearing, what people will think of me, what to say, etc)
20) Continue to put my husband and kids at the core of all I do. Let them know regularly that they totally ROCK my world!

OooOOOoo…liquid eyeliner is the trickiest of all things. It sucks when you mess up and you have to wash your entire eyeball.
#20 is the best one of them all!

I LOVE the classic look of liquid eyeliner… when it’s done right. When I was younger it was easier because my eyelids weren’t so stretchy and wrinkly (that sounds so gross). I just keep practicing, and explained to the daycare parents that I might look like I’ve pulled some all nighters for the next few weeks, while I practice my eyeliner application.
